Reading about intersex conditions in my biopsych text. One specifically is a genetic mutation in which the internal organs are male (testes and all) while externally they appear female. That is, until puberty.
Question: what would you do if you were raised a female and at puberty you started growing a penis?
This genetic mutation occurs quite often in a village in the Dominican Republic. The children are raised as a female and once they notice a penis, they continue adolescence and the rest of their life as a male. Makes you wonder why American society has such a hard time accepting people as who they are, regardless of what they have between their legs.
